Glossybox advent calendar 2022: Price, release date and everything you need to know

Glossybox has revealed the name of its 2022 advent calendar and has opened a waiting list for fans of the brand.

The new Glossybox advent calendar for 2022 is named Freeze and while the beauty brand is being secretive about the contents fans can now sign up to get access to pre orders when the calendar is launched.

The big name brand-packed 2020 and 2021 calendars sold out in minutes and fans will be scrambling again to get their hands on the 2022 version. Our reviewer described previous calendars said: "There really isn't much negative I can say about the box other than they definitely should have done a restock, as so many shoppers seemed devastated to not get their hands on one."

When will the Glossybox advent calendar for 2022 go on sale?

Last year the Glossybox advent calendar went on sale for subscribers on September 10, and for non-subscribers on September 24. A similar date is likely this year, with the first calendars probably arriving in late September or early October.

Glossybox has not confirmed a set date for pre orders but those who sign up for the waiting list (subscribers) will be offered the calendar early again this year.

Glossybox says: "Anyone can purchase a GLOSSYBOX Advent Calendar! Like with all GLOSSYBOX Limited Editions, subscribers will get priority access to the Advent Calendar, allowing them to buy theirs first! Then, non-subscribers will be able to buy their calendars when they go on general sale a couple of weeks later."

What will be in the Glossybox advent calendar in 2022?

Last year the calendar contained 25 beauty must-haves from cult beauty brands including Elemis, PIXI, Sarah Chapman and Huda Beauty. Worth over £465, the calendar was priced at £85 for subscribers and £105 for non-subscribers.

That compares favourably to the £70 price of the Amazon beauty advent calendar 2022.
