Glorious Goodwood day three tips plus best bets for Nottingham, Stratford, Epsom, Salisbury and Galway

HOO YA MAL (3.00) is one to remember in the Gordon Stakes on Day Three of Glorious Goodwood. The colt made rapid headway for George Boughey, hosing up in a warm Yarmouth maiden in August.

He soon boosted his reputation when chinned by the classy Noble Truth in a Doncaster Listed event. Despite those efforts, the son of Territories always looked like he would be even better this season.

He confirmed that impression when third to Native Trail over a mile in the Craven at Newmarket. The three-year-old relished tackling 1m 2f when giving Nations Pride most problems back at HQ.

However, he really excelled himself when second to the brilliant Desert Crown in the Epsom Derby. That is magnificent form so this bold-galloper can stay upwardly mobile switched to Andrew Balding.

The thriving Kingclere Ace can add the Richmond Stakes to his tally with CHATEAU (2.25). The colt showed both class and guts to reel-in Rogue Spirit in the Two-Year-Old Trophy at Beverley.

The juvenile built on that effort with a game fourth to Little Big Bear in the Windsor Castle at Ascot. He showed a willing attitude again to cosily dismiss Rogue Lightning in the Rose Bowl at Newbury.

The son of Havana Gold is nicely unexposed over six furlongs so he can see off some exciting rivals.

ASAASSI (1.50) looks lethal for in-form Roger Varian in the trappy Coral Kincsem Handicap. The colt looked a decent prospect with two placed efforts on the Kempton all-weather last Winter.

He showed the benefits of wind surgery when thrashing Alternativa on his Turf debut at Salisbury. The three-year-old improved again when decisively defeating Highland Premiere up in class at York.

That race is working out extremely well so this progressive type can shrug off a lenient 4lb penalty.

NASHWA (3.35) can continue her relentless rise for Team Gosden in the Nassau Stakes. The three-year-old oozed class with a merciless defeat of Stay Alert in the Fillies’ Trial at Newbury.

The daughter of Frankel stayed upwardly mobile with a terrific third to Tuesday in the Epsom Oaks. She then bagged a Classic of her own when edging La Parisienne in the French version at Chantilly. There is plenty more to come from this class act who can land another Group 1 under Hollie Doyle.

SEDUCTIVE POWER (4.10) can turn on the charm for Richard Hannon in the Jaeger Nursery. The juvenile wasn’t disgraced when fifth to Dark Thirty on debut in a typically hot Newbury novice. The colt caught the eye again when fourth to Isaac Shelby in a similar event at the Berkshire venue.

He then opened his account with an impressive defeat of the promising Nanga Parbat on his return. The two-year-old was staying-on well so he can take advantage of a kind draw over seven furlongs.

SILKY WILKIE (4.45) looks very smooth for Karl Burke in the trappy World Pool Handicap. The three-year-old was better than ever when outbattling So Smart in a strong event at Haydock.

The speedster stayed on track with cracking seconds in better company at Redcar and Newcastle. The gelding resumed winning ways with a pillar-to-post victory over Ventura Flame at Hamilton. The son of Mehmas remains in peak form so she can make light of a 4lb hike for his shrewd yard.

SPARKLING BEAUTY (5.20) can extend Richard Hughes’ winning streak in the closing maiden. The Amo Racing challenger was a not unfancied 9-2 shot ahead of her first outing at Newbury.

And the two-year-old showed real ability with a creditable second behind the promising Liftoff. There is plenty more to come from this speedy type who can get the better of some exciting foes.

FLYLIKEANEAGLE (2.40) can soar for Lucinda Russell in the Racing TV Handicap at Nottingham. The gelding stayed on the rise for Team Arlary when cosily denying Ayr Empress at Musselburgh.

The five-year-old scored with plenty in hand so he can defy a well-earned 4lb rise upped in class.

CARDBOARD GANGSTER (3.07) looks dangerous for Dai Jeffreys over the Jumps at Stratford. The gelding ran another blinder over fences when second to the useful Serjeant Painter here.

The grey remains fairly-treated so he should land another tricky contest over this longer trip. Fergal O’Brien has hit top gear so I’m picking YAUTHYM (3.42) in the IDP Handicap Hurdle.

The six-year-old recorded a career best when easily defeating Lady Reset at Kempton in May. The mare still lurks on a workable mark so she can strike again after a tune-up on the Flat.

KILCHREEST MOON (4.20) can shine for skilled Henry Oliver in the NAF Handicap Chase. A winning hurdler, the gelding just denied Treacys Jim on his fencing bow at Newton Abbot.

The 11-year-old is unexposed for his age so he can follow up off only a 4lb higher rating.

PARTY CENTRAL (5.05) can spark the celebrations for Gordon Elliott in the Galway Hurdle. The six-year-old flopped when well-backed for the Ryanair Novices’ Hurdle at Cheltenham.

However, she made amends with a convincing defeat of Instit at the Punchestown Festival. The pacey mare should relish this tough handicap so she can take control for Davy Russell.
