Resplendent in a Gucci jumpsuit emblazoned with hearts, Harry Styles certainly looks the global superstar.
Even if he sometimes has to pinch himself that he’s on such a big stage.
“This does not happen to people like me,” says Harry, incredulous at the sheer number of fans packed into Wembley Stadium.
But not only does he look the part, he’s got the moves too.
He covers every inch of the stage like Freddie Mercury in his pomp as hits Watermelon Sugar, Cinema and summer anthem As It Was are met with raucous approval.
But there is also substance behind the swagger, with Fleetwood Mac-inspired Boyfriends and ballad Matilda showcasing emotional depth.
While some artists get lost in the vastness of a stadium show, Harry is able to extract a rare level of intimacy.
“You don’t mind a bit of rain, do you?” he asks, as the heavens open during the encore.
Judging by their faces, not one bit.
