The Bank of Japan (BOJ) left its economic assessment unchanged for all nine regions of the country on Thursday, signalling confidence that Japan's recovery remains on track despite lingering global uncertainties.
According to Reuters, the central bank said the risk of the Middle East conflict triggering a sharp downturn in Japan's exports and industrial output has diminished, reducing one of the key external threats to the country's economic outlook.
