Two schools in Co Antrim have taken part in a programme that aims to empower young people to make positive choices and play an active role in their community.
Around four hundred 11-16 year olds at Glengormley High School and Edmund Rice College took part in the Respect Programme this school year.
Developed by the Children’s Safety Education Foundation (CSEF) and funded by the Housing Executive, the Respect Programme teaches teenagers about the consequences of anti-social behaviour and crime including hate crime on communities, as well as the health, safety and wellbeing of young people.
