Glen Kamara targeted by 'racist behaviour' as Rangers star at the centre of UEFA probe after Montenegro incident

UEFA have launched an investigation into alleged "racist behaviour" from a Montenegro player towards Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara while on international duty with Finland.

Kamara started the final Nations League group game Podgorica, which Finland won 2-0, when the incident took place with the unnamed Montenegro player with European football's governing body now examining the flashpoint. The 26-year-old was previously targeted by Slavia Prague star Ondrej Kudela during Rangers Europa League clash back in 2021, with the Czech Republic international receiving a 10-game ban from the governing ban following the incident.

A statement from the Finnish FA read: " UEFA has started an investigation into the racist behaviour of a Montenegrin player towards Glen Kamara. Finland won the UEFA Nations League match played in Podgorica with a score of 0-2. Neither the Finnish Football Federation nor the Finnish team will comment on the matter for the time being. We will find out more details."
