Glen Kamara is the subject of Rangers transfer interest with French outfit Nantes leading the chase for his signature.
The Ligue 1 strugglers are believed to be preparing a £6million move for the Light Blues midfielder. The 27-year-old - named Finland's Player of the Year last week - is said to impressed with his form during the Light Blues' run to the Europa League final last season. They defeated the likes of Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig on route before a heartbreaking penalty shootout loss in the showpiece to Frankfurt.
The Finnish midfielder had fallen down the pecking order under former boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst and was hooked at half-time in what proved to be his final game in the dugout against St Mirren prior to the Premiership winter shutdown due to the World Cup. Kamara was key member of Steven Gerrard's side in Glasgow, with now boss Beale No2 at the time and will hope his return could spark an Ibrox revival.

It was reported that French rivals Nice wanted the midfielder and a deal was close while Serie A outfit Salernitana had also been namechecked as possible suitors.
Fresh reports coming out of France have suggested the Rangers midfielder is Nantes' 'number one target' in the upcoming window. Reporter for Foot365 Ignazio Genuardi states they are also prepared to pay up to £6m to land the 27-year-old who still has some time left on his Rangers deal.
However, his future at Ibrox is not over yet with Beale stating on his return that he does have plans for the utility man..
Tomorrow's friendly with Bayer Leverkusen at Ibrox could provide a key clue ahead of next week's Premiership return against Hibs under the lights in Govan.
He said: "Glen has got 100 per cent of my trust. He was hugely important in my previous time here and while he’s still young, he’s coming into the prime of his career.
"He will be a big player for Rangers moving forward."
