Glen Kamara makes Rangers exit admission as he raves over Ibrox atmosphere 'you can't get' at Anfield and Old Trafford

Glen Kamara says he would contemplate a move away from Rangers if it was to the Premier League or top European division - but he doesn't expect to find an atmosphere like Ibrox.

The midfielder has been an impressive performer for the Light Blues since joining from Dundee in 2019, winning one Scottish Cup and claiming Premiership glory last year.

Formerly of Arsenal, the Finland international was blown away by the standard of Scottish football when he initially took a career decision to move north.

It's proven fruitful as Kamara has now been involved in a Europa League final and will contest Champions League qualifiers this summer under boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst.

Playing at the Govan club's iconic home provides a more raucous occasion than the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United, on a top of a relentless desire for victory.

While he has aspirations to play at the highest level he can, the 26-year-old says Glasgow has been great for his development.

He told Finland's national broadcaster YLE : "When I played against Rangers at first, I thought the level was good, but I wanted to go to England because the level is even better.

"But when I came to Rangers, I realised that the level is really high and that this is the best place to develop.

"I would never say that I wouldn't go and play elsewhere in Europe. I would like to play in the Premier League, but if there was somewhere else that would be good for me, I would go there.

"A lot of my friends have come to Rangers to watch the games. They say they've been to Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool or Everton, but you can't get this atmosphere anywhere else.

"If we win, we can go anywhere, but if we lose, we should probably stay at home.

"At this club, you have to win every match against anyone. If we were playing Real Madrid, the fans would say come on, you have to win. It's pretty cool."
