Organisers have revealed a major update to the Pyramid stage ahead of Glastonbury 2023, which is now just two days away. A giant mural has been painted onto the grass in support of the NHS ahead of kick-off on Wednesday (June 21).
Glastonbury Festival has shared a video of an aerial view of the Pyramid stage, the festival's main stage, which will see Artic Monkeys, Sir Elton John and Guns N' Roses headline this year. The message reads 'We stand with the NHS' in giant letters with the health service logo encompassed in a rainbow heart, which appears it is being spray-painted by three people in the video.
The incredible video pans up to show the message which is placed directly in front of the main stage, also just visible on the BBC's live Glastonbury webcam. It also shows progress on the site between the Other stage and the edge of Silver Hayes.

It's not the first time the festival has shown its support for the NHS over the years. In 2020, the festival's founder Michael Eavis shared a special video message thanking all the health and care staff working on the frontline of the pandemic.
Mr Eavis said: “Thank you to all those fabulous people who devote their entire lives caring for the sick and for the dying of this terrible virus. We cannot thank you all enough. Hats off to all of you.”
In 2019, Mr Eavis gave away around 500 tickets for the event to trainee nurses in the Mendip area where the festival is based. He made the decision following a conversation with the local NHS trust chairman who had spoken out on a lack of trainees in the profession.
