Blondie fans were left disappointed after they were forced to turn their television over during their Glastonbury set today (June 25). The iconic Amercian band were on the Pyramid Stage this afternoon ahead of Lil Nas X and Sir Elton John's headline set on the final date of the festival.
However, viewers jumped onto Twitter not long into the performance to bemoan the sound quality. It follows similar issues experienced by BBC viewers listening and watching Guns N' Roses' as they rocked the Pyramid Stage last night (June 24).
People watching on the BBC's feed from Worthy Farm said the sound quality was "poor" and it sounded like singer Debbie Harry was having microphone problems. Others said they could not hear her over the rest of the band.

Someone else said: "Sound is awful here for Blondie, backing music way too loud and can’t hear any vocals."

Another person added: "Blondie coming up soon on Glastonbury 2023 another blast from decades ago. One major complaint from tv viewers is the sound from the vocalists. It's not been the best, hopefully it's been a lot better for the live audience?"
"Sadly had to turn off Blondie. The sound is terrible. I can't put up with that for another hour," said another disappointed viewer.
Viewers will be hoping the rest of tonight's acts will be free from mic issues as they eagerly await headline performer Sir Elton's Glastonbury debut set. The popstar is expected to take the stage at 9pm and fans have been attempting to guess who the Rocketman singer will have join him as a guest.
Taron Egerton, who depicted Sir Elton in a biopic film, has been spotted at the festival, while Britney Spears has reportedly been seen at Bristol Airport. Dave Grohl has, of course, already guested for two acts following Foo Fighters set on Friday - as drummer for The Pretenders and guitarist alongside Slash in Guns N Roses - and may make another surprise appearance.
