Glastonbury have announced a last-minute change to their festival schedule today after an act was forced to cancel their performance.
The festival announced the schedule shake-up in a tweet just minutes before the act was due to appear on The Other Stage.
A tweet from Glastonbury read: "Unfortunately, The Joy have been forced to cancel their 11am performance at the Other Stage. They will be replaced by Mother Sky".
Meanwhile, South African band The Joy posted a video on their Instagram story to explain further to fans their reason for their absence.
In the video, one of the members explains: "Hello everybody this is The Joy. We wanted to let you know that we are very very disappointed we had to cancel our show today."
They explained how one of the member's voices "isn't well".
"He's recovering here and we'll be playing on the BBC today afternoon," they added.
The group were scheduled for a number of performances around Glastonbury this weekend as they performed at The Rabbit Hole Stage and Genosys Sound System Stage on Friday.
Later on today, Lil Nas X, Elton John, Becky Hill, Queens of the Stone Age, Rudimental and many more are due to grace the stages across the festival and entertain revellers.
Sir Elton's headline gig on the Pyramid Stage is highly-anticipated as it is his first-ever Glastonbury performance and set to be his last gig in the UK as he is due to retire after his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour.
Ahead of the appearance a number of special guests have been rumoured to be joining Elton on the Pyramid Stage including Britney Spears and Dua Lipa.
Elton's husband David Furnish confirmed the 76-year-old singing sensation is set to welcome four guests onto his Sunday headline set.
Speaking to Beth Rigby of Sky News, David said: "He just thought, 'I'd really like to do something with these artists at Glastonbury. And that's all I'm going to say.
"Sorry. I am sworn to secrecy. This one is very special. It is not just another day in office. It's a different setlist - it's a huge outdoor live festival.
"He's got four different collaborators joining him on stage at different times, who I won't name, sorry."
Elton also revealed he is planning a "different setlist" for Glastonbury as opposed to his current touring set.
"I’ve got guests who I can’t tell you who they are," he said. "But it’s going to be wonderful – I’m really looking forward to it."
When his debut at Glastonbury was announced, Elton said in a statement, "There is no more fitting way to say goodbye to my British fans. They have been beyond brilliant and have supported me through all the highs and lows of my career. I can’t wait to embrace the spirit of the greatest festival in the world."
In the past, the Pyramid Stage has welcomed performers such as Beyoncé, Stormzy, Kylie Minogue and Paul McCartney, and closing Glastonbury feels like a fitting finale to a career that has spanned more than five decades.
