Glastonbury 2024 tickets sold out just under an hour after going on sale on Sunday morning.
Thousands rushed to secure tickets after general sale admission went live at 9am for the hotly-anticipated event, which will be held next June.
Tickets for 2024 cost £355 (plus a £5 booking fee), up from £335 for 2023's event.
It comes after Glastonbury co-organiser Emily Eavis said media speculation claiming that the festival's headliners have been confirmed is "untrue".
Reports in recent weeks suggested that Madonna, Dua Lipa and Coldplay will top the bill on the Pyramid Stage at the event.
Ms Eavis denied the claims. She said: "We are working on the line-up day and night at the moment, but it's still changing every day. The story about our confirmed headliners is untrue.
"As always, we love your enthusiasm and guesswork - but accurate news on headliners will be with you sometime in the new year."
Ms Eavis recently said on the BBC podcast Sidetracked that the lineup for the festival was still "a little up inthe air" but she hoped there would be two female headliners. She revealed that a major femaleartist has been booked for the Legends slot, but did not disclose who it was.
The world-famous event, which features more than 3,000 acts, will take place from June 26 to 30.
It came as HSBC warned music fans to watch out for scammers as Glastonbury tickets became available.
The bank said criminals will typically pose as a seller and post on social media or online marketplaces.
They will claim to post or email the tickets once a bank transfer has been made. But nothing arrives and the criminal disappears.
