Glasgow woman in critical condition after being struck by van while walking on Kingston Bridge

A woman is in critical condition in hospital after being struck by a vehicle while walking on the Kingston Bridge.

The incident took place around 1.10am this morning (February 13) on the eastbound section of the M8 motorway near to the Junction 18 Bothwell Street off ramp.

Emergency services attended and the 27-year-old female pedestrian was taken by ambulance to hospital.
