Glasgow has largely managed to avoid the worst of the snow that blanketed the UK this past week - but a weather warning remained in place this morning.
Multiple Met Office yellow warning for snow in ice warning were in place across large parts of the country, including the Greater Glasgow area. The most recent alert states that "further snowfall has the potential to cause disruption Saturday evening into Sunday."
While the city itself looks like it will avoid anymore snowfall over today and temperatures will be warmer across Sunday, it's not time to leave winter behind just yet.

The Weather Channel app is forecasting snow for Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday in the coming week, with BBC Weather also predicting "light snow and a moderate breeze" on Thursday.
The latest warning from the Met Office reads: "Snow accumulations have decreased slightly with fewer impacts expected. Parts of northwest England have been removed from the warning where accumulating snow is no longer expected. The start time has also been delayed until early evening."
