The weather in Glasgow is set to brighten up, and sooner than you may think.
According to weather forecasters, highs of 20C and 21C are expected across the next two days with the latter set for August 2 (Tuesday).
Temperatures are set to drop in the same week where the city will experience lows of 17C with cloud coverage expected to chill the city.

Although it's set to get cooler for a while, this will change again soon where we will see highs of 20C again.
As predicted by AccuWeather, starting August 7, Glasgow will see highs of 20C with the same set to happen the following day. After this, August 9 (Saturday) until August 12 (Tuesday) are set to see highs of 21C.
However whilst the sun is set to come out again in the wake of the heatwave we experienced just weeks ago - which saw highs soar above 30C - we are also set for spells thunder and lightning.
AccuWeather states the first of the spells is set to start on August 15 (Friday). It will then happen again on August 19 and later on towards the end of the month on August 29 (Friday).
But with the weather for the next month looking a bit mixed, what does the forecast for this week look like?
