Police have launched an appeal after a vehicle in Lanarkshire was deliberately set alight.
The incident took place in Newmains on Friday September 16 at around 1.50am on Woodside Crescent. Officers have confirmed they are treating the incident as wilful fire-raising.
They are carrying out enquiries in the local area and ask anyone with any information, particularly drivers in the area who may have dashcam footage, to come forward and assist with their investigation.

Detective Constable Mark McNab, of Lanarkshire CID, said: “Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
“Officers have been carrying out extensive enquiries in the local area, including gathering CCTV footage.
“I would urge anyone who witnessed anything suspicious or who has information that may help our enquiries to contact officers. I would particularly urge those who would have been driving in the area and may possibly have dashcam footage to get in touch.”
