Glasgow sports presenter Darrell Currie has shared details of his ongoing battle with a chronic pain condition, in a social media post explaining his on-screen absence.
Darrell is a regular pundit on the BT Sport couch, and is usually spotted between Chris Sutton and other ex-footballers, commenting on the latest Scottish football match. However, he has been absent from television for a while, and decided to let people know the reasons behind his absence.
Writing on Twitter, Darrell said: "Happy New Year to you all. I'm sorry I've not been with you on Live TV recently. I have been dealing with a chronic pain condition which has brought challenges to my life as I feel constantly dizzy, imbalanced and find walking difficult at times.
