A person has died after being struck by a train between Glasgow Central station and Paisley Gilmour Street.
British Transport Police (BTP) and paramedics were called to Hillington East railway station around 12:30pm this afternoon following reports of a casualty on the tracks.

Sadly, the person was pronounced dead at the scene.
BTP say that the incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the Procurator Fiscal.
A British Transport Police spokesman said: "British Transport Police were called to Hillington East railway station at 12.30pm today (1 February) following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
"Officers and paramedics are in attendance. Sadly a person has been pronounced dead at the scene.
"This incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the procurator fiscal."
