A moonlight swim is being held in Loch Lomond later this month as part of a series of night-time challenge swims being held throughout 2022.
Inchbaggers Island Swims is hosting the event in the fabulous surroundings of Luss beach for both beginners and experienced swimmers.
There will be a choice to take part in either a 400m course or shorter 200m distance, with medals and goodie bags being presented to all participants. All swimmers will be required to have an illuminated to float to participate.

The event, which takes place on Tuesday, June 14, will be led by experienced UK outdoor swimmer and coach Chris Sifleet, Director of Inchbaggers Island Swims.
With over 42 years experience as an open water swimmer, he is Scotland’s most experienced coach and the founder of Inchbaggers Island Swims, who provide organised swims to some of Loch Lomond’s islands.
About the moonlight swim, he said: "There’s been such a terrific uptake in outdoor swimming that we hope this event will attract people looking to do something that bit different.
"Safety is a key concern and we will have kayakers out on the loch to assist if needed and the routes have been designed to suit all abilities."
The swim will take place at 10pm or at 9pm on the night for swimmers who don’t feel so confident swimming in the dark.
The Moonlight Swims cost from £35.00 per person per swim and can be registered here.
