Glasgow tenement fire 'wilful', police confirm after misinformation campaign

A FIRE that tore through a tenement in Glasgow after false claims were spread online that it was being renovated to house migrants is now being treated as wilful by police.

The blaze broke out in the building, which was in the later stages of being redeveloped by NG Homes into affordable housing, on Stonyhurst Street in Possilpark on Sunday at around 5pm.
