A large policing operation was in force in Govan as football supporters threw objects, let off smoke bombs and scuffled with officers before and after a match at Ibrox on Wednesday night.
Mounted police were forced to swarm around a group wearing balaclavas, masks and scarves ahead of Rangers game against Liverpool.
Officers charged toward the crowd that was causing the disorder while a number of police cars blocked the road. In a video shared on TikTok by a resident of a street near the stadium, the mounted officers can be seen fleeing following a loud bang and explosion.

What appears to be orange smoke bombs were let off close to the police horses while items were thrown at officers. The locals compared the scene to a 'riot'.
Inside the match, Liverpool fans clashed with Rangers ultras. Footage shared on social media shows fans being separated by security inside Ibrox as the two groups sang, shouted and gestured towards each other.
Security staff were later forced to create a human wall down the aisles of the seating area to keep jostling fans apart.
Thousands of Liverpool fans arrived in the Scottish city via train, coach, car and plane for the teams' first-ever competitive fixture at Ibrox. Eyewitnesses predicted around 10,000 fans had travelled to the city with only 2,600 allocated seats at Ibrox, reports the Liverpool Echo.
Fans gathered in the city centre around a number of Irish bars to drink with Celtic supporters.
Liverpool came back from a goal down to win the match 7-1 and are now second in Group A, behind Napoli.
Police Scotland said only one arrest was made throughout the evening.
A spokesperson confirmed: "One man, aged 34, was arrested and charged in connection with a minor disorder offence. One man, aged 22, was given a Recorded Police Warning in connection with a minor disorder offence. "
The force is also looking into claims that Rangers ultras charged into the ground after full-time and 'threw bottles' at away fans.
