West end shoppers have welcomed a new store, with Paperchase opening up on Byres Road.
The new spot opened their doors to the public yesterday (December 14), adding to the existing Paperchase outlets in Glasgow at Braehead and Silverburn Shopping Centres as well as the Buchanan Street store.
Representatives from Paperchase have said the location was chosen as it represents the ‘beautiful beating heart’ of Glasgow’s west end.

A spokesperson for Paperchase said: “We are so thrilled to be ending 2022 on a high, wit our latest store opening in Byres Road.
“We think Paperchase is going to fit in beautifully with this wonderful surrounding. We have been able to hire four external candidates from the local area and have also promoted management internally.
“A success story in itself, it shows how we have been able to develop our wonderful store colleagues and when new and exciting opportunities arise, they are always up for a challenge. The store will be open for trade from December 14.”
Georgina Pollock, Senior Property Officer, added: “We chose Byres Road as it represents the beautiful beating heart of Glasgow’s west end.
“Its array of eclectic shops, vibrant bars, fine restaurants, and coffee culture offers the local community and student population a purpose to work, play and shop.”
