At long last, the sun is finally here and we can change from our jeans to shorts.
According to forecasters at the BBC and Met Office, soaring temperatures are set to brighten the city and it's maybe time for that 'taps aff' weather after all.
Today alone (May 31) the city will see highs of 23C with low of 9C - the better temperatures are set to peak around 4pm.

Welcoming June with highs of 20C the following day, the rest of the week is set to be much the same with Friday (June 2) getting as hot as 21C.
On the first day of the weekend, highs of 21C are yet again expected on June 3 with June 4 (Sunday) going up every so slightly.
On this day, we will see highs of 22C - and you will be glad to know that during all remaining five days of this week spanning until Sunday, there is not a single drop of rain expected to fall.

Low clouds around, and to the east of, Glasgow soon clearing to leave a dry day with some warm or very warm sunshine. Light winds. Maximum temperature 24C.
Tonight
A fine and dry evening with late sunshine. Cloud increasing overnight, especially around, and to the east of, Glasgow. Winds remaining light. Minimum temperature 9C.
Thursday
A rather cloudy start for many but becoming brighter through the morning with long sunny spells developing. A little cooler than in recent days but still warm in the sunshine. Maximum temperature 22C.
Outlook for Friday to Sunday
Remaining dry with plenty of sunshine over the coming days, any overnight low cloud burning off through the mornings. Feeling warm, locally very warm.
