A bridge in Glasgow's Sighthill, which has seen a multi-million pound investment, has been blighted by overflowing bins and litter - with rats roaming the area too.
The new bridge over the M8 was part of Glasgow City Council's £250 million regeneration of the area which also includes over 800 new homes.
It connects Sighthill to the city centre of Glasgow but residents have hit out at the vast amount of rubbish leaking out of bins and laying on the ground since it opened earlier this year.

It includes beer bottles, dog poo and soft drink bottles.
One local resident is concerned the mess will deter potential home buyers from moving into the area and is calling on the council to clear it out.
The 42-year-old told Glasgow Live: "The bins were overflowing, there’s rubbish all over the new flower beds and paving.
"When I go over the bridge in the morning I’ve also seen rats at the bins as well. It’s been like that for two to three weeks now, it’s disgusting.
"The area is trying to sell itself with lots of houses for sale. If you’re walking over the bridge and see that then you are going to be put off.
"My concerns are that it’s going to be left to be a dumping ground for people, it already looks like a dumping ground.
"The bridge itself is lovely but it’s been left a mess. A lot of people went around themselves and picked the rubbish up because it’s getting beyond a joke."
Calling on the council to take urgent action, the resident added: "It’s disappointing especially because of all the money that’s been spent on it and it’s left to rot.
"It’s sad to see it in this condition and it’s been neglected.
"I want the council to empty the bins and keep the area tidy."
A spokesman for Glasgow City Council said: “People always have a responsibility to dispose of their rubbish appropriately.
“If a bin is full then people should find another bin or take their rubbish home to dispose of it there.
“However, we will clear up any mess at this location and ensure litter bins are serviced regularly.
“We have received no reports of rodents at this location.”
