Glasgow's Big Feed is back - here are all the vendors you can expect to see this weekend

Big Feed is back with a whole host of new and old favourite vendors.

Whether you’re hot for Salt & Chilli, go quackers for Duck, are barking mad for Firedog or would die for Muerte Por Churros, there is something there for everyone.

As always each event brings a nice rotation of traders so there’s always something different alongside the old favourites.

The venue in Govan has also been revamped for 2022 with more space, more tables and seats and lots of private little corners and even standing tables - and dogs are still very much welcome.

Here’s an exclusive Glasgow Live preview of this weekend’s traders and what to look out for with Big Feed boss Jonny Stipanovsky.

For more info, directions or public transport links, click here. Big Feed is open this weekend on Saturday 12-10PM and Sunday 12-7PM.

Duck

One of the most popular traders we have ever seen at Big Feed – it’s a sensation! They launched their new Duck Shawarma last month and it’s been flying out – really something special. Get involved with their now world-famous Duck Fries too. We suspect Duck is going to be the legend of Big Feed 2022, like Salt & Chilli was last year.

Salt & Chilli

Ahhh the old favourite - Glasgow’s original and best home of all things salt and chilli. So many people have come to Big Feed to try this trader’s wizardry.

And as ever there are innovations – they have a new Munchie Box on the menu with their signature Salt & Chilli Chicken, Chips, King Prawns and Spring Rolls all served together. So no need to try and choose!

Fire Dog Hotdog

Big Feed residents and possibly Scotland’s best-known Street Food trader. Slinging the best German imported dogs in town, there’s a dog for every taste here.

Muerte Por Churros

Ice-cream, loaded churros, milkshakes and sundaes – does it get any better? There is ALWAYS time for dessert and if there is a better dessert than a churro sundae, we really would like to know what it is.

Big news - they are now working with the incredible Porrelli ice-cream. Stop by for an amazing waffle cone, milkshake, ice cream sundae or their legendary stacked churros.

Coffee Cart Culture

Established in 2020, Coffee Cart Culture have traded at Big Feed several times serving up their amazing coffee, cocktails and banter.

At Cop26 they were the coffee provider for the New York Times Climate Hub.

Nomad Pizza

One of Glasgow’s original ‘out and about’ wood fired pizza traders.

Their Nduja Spicy Italian Sausage with Roasted Red Pepper is outstanding – but you really can’t go wrong with any of their pizzas. Just trust us on this. We have regulars who drive from deepest Lanarkshire each day Nomad is with us, just to get a pizza!

Yu Ca Taco

Bringing Mexican Street Food from the Yucatán with their simple, fresh ingredients bursting with flavour.

Their ever-changing menu includes soft shell tacos, burritos, fresh salads and home-made salsas with the majority of their dishes being gluten- free.

Some of the best street food in the world is Mexican – and no one does it better than Yu Ca Taco, their dishes look like works of art and taste even better.

Stag Bites the Hog

The British Street Food Finalists in 2021 and Big Feed regulars will be dishing up slow-cooked and roasted meats in all sorts of delicious ways from their beloved ‘Ronnie’, the Citroen H Van. Their ever-changing menu includes the likes of Loaded Fries, Burgers, Po’ Boys, Nachos and their outstanding Mac ‘n’ Cheese fritters will blow your mind! They always have a vegan option too, for

example Korean Smoked Butternut Loaded Fries – double portion please!

Rost

Also regulars at Big Feed, our friends from the East Coast serve up the tastiest menu every time. Their Halloumi Fries are legendary, as is their Peanut

Butter Crunch Pheasant Burger and Jerry’s patter is not to be missed!

Three Sisters Bake

This will be their second outing to Big Feed for 2022 and after their first at our relaunch in February, they’ll need triple the stock they planned on.

Their cakes and bakes went down a storm with a constant stream of customers from opening till closing – they sold out their full weekend’s stock halfway through day one and had to pull a very late night/early morning session to restock.
