Glasgow rail users have been met with disruption this evening due to a power outage.
Network Rail note confirmed there has been a failure of the electricity supply at Glasgow Queen Street. As a result, trains through this station may be cancelled, delayed or revised.
Train running on lines between Helensburgh Central / Milngavie and Edinburgh, Balloch and Airdrie and between Milngavie and Springburn have all been affected by the disruption, which is expected to last until 9pm this evening.

Rail users can use their tickets on Glasgow Subway on the following: Inner Circle: St Enoch - Glasgow Buchanan Street (Queen Street) - Partick. Outer Circle: Partick - Glasgow Buchanan Street (Queen Street) - St Enoch.
Meanwhile ScotRail say they have requested buses at various locations but these are still to be confirmed, while they are asking people to bear in mind that services are very busy right now.
Network Rail saw their engineers are currently investigating the fault. More info when we have it.
