Glasgow's Queen Street Station is set to welcome a new M&S food store set to open in less than 24 hours.
As announced by Scotrail, the store will open its doors tomorrow (February 9) at 10am sharp in time for those making the morning commute.
Travellers will be able to get their hands on the retailers best food and drink options with plenty of Percy Pigs on hand, of course. It comes as Glasgow Live reported last month of its opening, with Managing Director of Scotland’s Railway, Alex Hynes, calling it a "great addition" for not just those who use the station but the city centre as a whole.

The news is much-welcomed with Glasgow's Central Station already home to a small M&S food outlet.
People from across the country use the station on a daily basis whether they're going a short distance to areas such as Edinburgh or further afield. And it's been designed with them in mind with people being able to pick up plenty of convenient, food and drink options for now and later, to bakery items and fresh flowers, with self-service checkouts for those looking to grab a quick snack for the train.
Located right next to the Dundas Street entrance of the station, the unit occupies a 131 square metre retail space, and is located in the perfect place to pick up bite to eat at the start or end of a journey.
The store opening hours are 6:30am-10pm, Monday to Saturday, and 7am-10pm on Sundays.
ScotRail, represented by commercial property experts, Advance Ventures, are working to secure more retailers for the redeveloped station.
Margaret Hoey, ScotRail General Manager at Glasgow Queen Street, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Marks & Spencer into Glasgow Queen Street, and I know our customers are equally excited about the opening of the new M&S Food outlet.
“Whether people are travelling for business or leisure, M&S offer a fantastic range of products for all.
“Providing customers with high-quality retail is a key part in the railway’s continued recovery from the pandemic and will enhance our customers’ experience.”
David Phillpot, M&S Franchise Trading Director, added: “We’re pleased to be bringing trusted-value M&S Food to hungry travellers.
"Offering all our iconic favourites, whether it’s quality lunches and snacks, delicious dinner options or hand-picked bouquets for a loved one, this M&S Food store is another great reason to be visiting Queen Street station.”
