A pensioner has admitted owning a dog that bit another pet and a man.
Edward Costley, 71, was in the presence of his German Shepherd bitch Meera when she pounced on Cavalier King Charles named Cooper.
Meera had pursued Cooper and her owner Michelle Fleming in the Gallowgate on July 7 last year. She then bit Cooper on the body.

Meera then went on to pursue Robert Graham and his Pug dog three months later on October 18.
Meera went on to bite Mr Graham on the buttocks in the city's Drygate area.
Costley's son was walking Meera at the time of the offence.
Costley pled guilty today at Glasgow Sheriff Court to separate charges of being the owner of a dog which was dangerously out of control while untethered.
The court was told that Costley has a previous conviction for a similar offence with a different dog.
Prosecutor Lauren Aitchison made a motion for Meera to be destroyed and Costley to be disqualified from owning a dog which was opposed by his lawyer Eddie Gilroy.
The matter was continued to sentencing next month pending background reports by sheriff Valerie Mays.
Further facts regarding the circumstances will also be heard.
Costley, of Drygate, had his bail continued meantime.
