A Glasgow pub has paid tribute to a "much loved friend" and customer after he died in a bus crash on Argyle Street, in Finnieston, near to Gray Street and the Park Bar.
John Robertson was killed after being hit by a bus at 12.05am on Monday June 5.
The 39-year-old, known to friends as 'The Doctor', has been remembered by The Park Bar who are "broken hearted" following his tragic death.
In a post on social media, they wrote: "We are all broken hearted and still coming to terms with the loss of John Robertson early this week.
"John was not just a popular customer, he was a much loved friend who touched the hearts of all who knew him, he will be greatly missed.
"Our thoughts are with his family and friends. Fois agus Sith."
The popular doctor had recently visited Nepal on an incredible venture to climb Mount Everest, reaching the South Base Camp at an altitude of 5,364 metres.
Hundreds of touching tributes have been paid to John, with many describing him as a "highland gentleman", "one of a kind" and " full of life".
One read: "So many broken hearts right now. The world will certainly be a little darker without John in it. He lit up every room and he will be missed beyond measure."
