PROTESTERS gathered in Glasgow city centre on Monday evening to condemn violence against women and girls and its "weaponisation" by the far right.

More than 1000 demonstrators descended on the Buchanan Steps for an emergency Reclaim the Night rally, demanding greater funding for women's services, rape crisis centres and domestic abuse refuges.
