Glasgow property: Inside stunning four-bed house on city's 'most Instagrammable' street

Glasgow's property market is rather mismatched at the moment - especially if you're a first time buyer and struggling to get on the property ladder.

Experts have said that the shortage of homes for sale has showed signs of easing during January 2021 whilst the growth of house prices have also shown signs of slowing.

Zoopla have said recently that new listings were five per cent higher than the five-year average during the start of the 2022 which is said to "signal the start of a recovery in supply."

If you have a sneak peak of recent property sales within the Glasgow area, it will show you that even one bed flats are selling beyond their home report with estimates said to be between eight to 10% showing there is a clear demand to move and stay in the city.

One property that's just come on the market however may be a little over budget for most people - and it's located on one of Glasgow's most 'Instagrammable streets'.

The four-bed and three-bathroom property is located on Blairhall Avenue next to Queen's Park in Shawlands in the southside.

The area is a hit with locals due to the vast amount of small businesses - whether it's a cafe or independent shop selling flowers.

Pollok Park is also a short 15 minute walk away meaning there are plenty of opportunities to get fresh air or take your dog on a walk when the sun is out.

Another benefit to it's prime location is transport with bus and train routes easily accessible from the address whilst motorway links provide easy access to the city centre and areas further afield.

It's not hard to see why many think it's a perfect photography spot thanks to its brightly coloured homes.

The property comes with two receptions and is spread over three floors with room to an office for those still working from home.

Having last sold back in March 2006 for £245,000, the highly sought after address doesn't come cheap though with offers over £475,000.

Zoopla have described the property as a "secluded and much admired tree lined street" located in the heart of Langside.

The terraced town house is large with plenty of windows to allow natural daylight through and boats a private garden.

They add: "The kitchen itself is of a high specification with an extensive range of quality integrated appliances and granite work surfaces.

"The original staircase extends to the first floor to reveal: A luxury bathroom comprising w.c, wash hand basin, free standing bath and separate shower enclosure, expansive front facing bay windowed bedroom and two further generously proportioned double bedrooms, all of which, permitting ample space for free standing wardrobes.

"The successful attic conversion provides an impressive master bedroom or guest suite with additional shower room."

The stunning property lies within level enclosed garden grounds to the front and features an enclosed courtyard style garden with original brick walling and access to the property's cellar which provides extensive storage space.
