A Glasgow pensioner who's gums were sliced open by a plastic shard found in a Marks and Spencer loaf says she is still waiting on an apology or compensation six months later.
June Gavin discovered the shard after biting into a slice of sourdough bread and feeling the sharp piece of plastic digging into her gums.
The 67-year-old had bought the loaf from the Marks and Spencer store in Silverburn on March 28 and after complaining was offered a £15 E-voucher that she is still yet to receive.
