Glasgow pedestrian hit by van in Shawlands with woman rushed to hospital

Shawlands Glasgow Police

A female pedestrian was taken to hospital after being hit by a van in Glasgow's south side.

The collision took place on Pollokshaws Road near to Minard Road in Shawlands yesterday.

Police and ambulance crews raced to the scene after the alarm was raised around 2:40pm.
