MTV have put out a casting call to the city of Glasgow to participate in the newest dating programme, Are You The One?
Writing to their viewers, MTV said: “Have you found yourself unexpectedly single after thinking you had found The One? Did the demise of your last relationship turn your world upside down?
“Do you feel pressure to find The One? Have you been unlucky in love?
“Are you ready to settle down once and for all? If so, we would LOVE to hear from you!

“Now is your chance to find love and collectively win a large cash prize!”
Are You The One? is a UK spin-off of the hit US version, first beginning in 2014. The first ever UK series is airing now on MTV, but casting companies are getting in early to secure the next cast for the show.
The matchmaking reality show, which premiered in the US in 2014, challenges attractive singletons to try and find their “Perfect Match.”
Unlike Love Island, which sees contestants couple up based on luck and vibes, Are You The One? scientifically matches the 10 men and 10 women beforehand–and it’s up to them to find out who science deems to be their perfect partner.
They’ll spend weeks in a Malta villa getting to know each other, going on dates, and completing challenges, which should help them uncover who their perfect partner is.
The contestants will take part in Match Up ceremonies along the way, which will let them know if they’re on the right track. If the 20 contestants can find the 10 Perfect Matches by the end of the show, they could go home with a cash prize–and maybe love.
