A section of the M8 westbound carriageway in Glasgow has closed following a multi-vehicle collision including a lorry which has overturned and blocked two lanes.
It is believed that the incident was reported at around 7.30am this morning near to Junction 13.
Emergency services rushed to the scene on the busy road and are currently still in attendance.

Road Policing Scotland have confirmed on social media that there is an overturned lorry blocking both lanes 2 and 3.
It is currently unclear whether anyone has been injured following the crash.
They tweeted: "The #M8 West at Junction 13 is currently closed (0800 20/04/23)due to a multi vehicle RTC. An overturned lorry involved is blocking lanes 2 and 3. We will try to get a lane open as soon as possible."
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 7.35am on Thursday, 20 April, police were called to a report of a road crash on the M8 westbound, near J13. The carriageway is closed and officers are at the scene."
A spokesperson from the Scottish Ambulance Service said: “We received a call today at 0740 hours to attend an incident on the M8. We dispatched two ambulances and a critical care paramedic to the scene, with the first resource arriving within one minute. We transported two patients to hospital.”
