Glasgow's Kingston Bridge is to be closed to traffic in one direction every night this month for essential works.
This is to allow for Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, to carry out essential resurfacing and bridge expansion joint replacements.
Work got underway on Monday (January 31) and is expected to continue every night between the hours of 8pm and 6am until the end of February.

The works will affect eastbound traffic, with a total closure of the M8 carriageway eastbound from junction 21 to junction 18 implemented each evening.
Delays can be expected as drivers navigate the diversion route, with sees traffic diverted from the M8 at junction 21 via Seaward Street – Paisley Road – Kingston Street – King George V Bridge – Broomielaw – North Street – follow junction 18 permanent signs.
Provision will be made to ensure Emergency Vehicles can pass through the closure.
