Glasgow jobs at risk as major employer to axe 800 roles

HUNDREDS of British Gas jobs in Scotland are set to be axed as the energy giant slashes 1300 roles across the UK.

Centrica, the parent company of British Gas, announced the cuts as part of a wider shake-up impacting both Edinburgh and Glasgow call centre employees, reports the Scottish Sun.
