Replying to a Twitter user they confirmed that there was a burst pipe.
They said: "We are investigating the burst in G13."
It is unclear when the issue will be fixed.
A Scottish Water spokesperson said: “Scottish Water is advising customers in parts of the centre, west and south west of Glasgow of a burst water main which could affect normal water supplies.
“A burst on a 36 inch trunk water main has occurred in Crow Road, Anniesland, near its junction with Fulton Street, which is causing some localised flooding in the area.
The burst could temporarily cause low water pressure or loss of normal water supply to properties in areas such as the city centre, West End, Partick, Anniesland and Govan.
“Engineers are working to restore any affected supplies by introducing a backfeed (or re-zoning the local network) and to repair the burst as quickly as possible.
“We apologise for any inconvenience and thank affected customers for their patience and understanding.
