Set to take place on May 6, which falls on a Saturday, the event will take place at Westminster Abbey in London with a bank holiday to follow just a few days later.
On Monday May 8, a bank holiday will be held to mark the coronation of King Charles III and whilst not taking place in Scotland, services will be affected.

The coronation preparation is underway with many people looking to take time off with pubs across Glasgow set to extend their licencing hours to celebrate.
Not only that, if you have the chance to use some annual leave, you could be in for a treat and enjoy 10 days away from work, thanks to the Early May Bank Holiday on the May 1 and King Charles III’s coronation on May 8 - a week apart.
To get the 10 day break in May using just four days of annual leave, you should request May 2 (Tuesday) to May 5 (Friday) off.
Alternatively, if the dates suit better, you could book off the remainder of the week after the coronation and have nine days instead. If possible, you could even book all the time off and have 16 days away from your desk to spend however you please.
