Channel 4 is searching for Glasgow families, friendship groups and workmates to take part in the newest season of iconic show The Big Breakfast.
First airing in 1992 to replace The Channel Four Daily, The Big Breakfast originally focused on news through light entertainment and humour. Now, it is hosted by Mo Gilligan and AJ Odudu, and was initially resurrected as a one-off series in 2021.

It will now be recommissioned for another full season in 2022, and the bosses at Channel 4 are looking for Glaswegians to take part in the newest series. Writing on a local Facebook community page, the casting team for The Big Breakfast said: "The Big Breakfast is back and they are looking for fun families, groups of friends and workmates to join us in the big breakfast house for some fun and games this summer!"

You can apply for Channel 4's The Big Breakfast through the link here. You will have to apply for a group through the one person, so keep that in mind.
Are there any requirements for the show?
In order to be eligible to participate, you will have to follow these guidelines:
- The applicant must be aged at least 18 years old
- If applying as a family or group, there must be a minimum of 3 other people and a maximum of 6 other people - in addition to you - in your family or group.
- If applying as a family, the minimum age for any members of your Family to take part in the Programme is 7 years old.
- If applying as a group, the minimum age for any members of your Group to take part in the Programme is 18 years old.
The closing date for entries is Friday, August 19. The closing date may be extended without notice, but it is not in Channel 4's plans at the moment.
