Glasgow emergency sewer repair underway in Shawlands following 'sewer flooding' reports

Emergency sewer work has closed down part of a main road that runs through Glasgow's south side.

A partial collapse of a branch pipe was found in Kilmarnock Road, Shawlands by Scottish Water officers - causing sewer flooding.

Two-way traffic lights have now been installed between Carment Drive and Eastwood Avenue and Trefoil Avenue has been closed at its junction with Kilmarnock Road.
