The Easter holidays are not too far away - many will be glad to know - and soon we can eat all the chocolate eggs we want with the holidays being a perfect excuse...not that you need one.
Whilst the sweet treats are set to be stacked high on the shelves in the coming weeks, with many of them already well stocked up in the supermarkets, kids will also be off school and probably eying up the sweets during your shopping trips if they have to tag along.
Holiday dates and term time differs slightly from council to council but we have put the latest dates from Glasgow City Council to help.

But when will they finish up and what date will they go back? Here is what you need to know and which key dates you'll want to note in your diaries.
Easter holiday dates 2023 - when do kids finish school?
Glasgow
Kids who learn in a school under Glasgow City Council will finish up for school as early as next week.
The bell will ring at 2:30pm on March 31 which falls on a Friday.
The holidays will last two weeks with the Spring Break taking place from April 3 (Monday) until April 14 (Friday).

- East Dunbartonshire: Kids will finish on Monday April 3
- West Dunbartonshire: Kids will finish on March 28
- East Renfrewshire: Kids will finish on Monday April 3
- North Lanarkshire: Kids will finish on March 31 at 2:30pm
- South Lanarkshire: Kids will finish on March 31 at 2:30pm
Easter holiday dates 2023 - when do kids return to school?
Glasgow
The kids will return on Monday April 17 and re-start at the normal time.
