The M80 motorway has been partially blocked due to a road traffic accident.
The crash is reported to have taken place northbound between Junctions 5 (Auchenkilns) and 6 (Old Inns) around 5:45pm this evening.
The accident has sparked large queues of traffic back to Junction 4 (Mollinsburn) on the M80 northbound, with traffic information site INRIX also reporting large queues on the southbound carriageway back to Junction 6.

Traffic Scotland have tweeted an alert, advising drivers in the area to expect delays and take care on approach. Travel time is reported to be 30 minutes.
Emergency services are at the scene.
Police Scotland have been contacted for comment. UPDATE: All lanes have been reopened.
