Glasgow drivers warned of delays as Clydeside Expressway reduced to one lane due to emergency gas works

Drivers are being advised expect delays as a result of emergency works next to the Clydeside Expressway.

Traffic information site INRIX are reporting queueing traffic due to the emergency gas works at Finnieston Street.

They wrote: "A814 Clydeside Expressway Eastbound entry slip road from Finnieston Street closed, queueing traffic due to emergency repairs at Finnieston Street."

Glasgow City Council's traffic management department TRAFFCOM issued a bulletin confirming that the Expressway was reduced to one lane in the city-bound direction at the Finnieston Street off ramp.

The Finnieston Street on ramp is also closed and diversions are in place, with delays expected as a result.

TRAFFCOM say the work will be completed "as soon as possible".
