Shoppers have been caught in traffic chaos today for over an hour due to ongoing roadworks at Darnley retail park.
One driver described the scenes as "manic", as the closure of the A726 Nitshill Road between Leggatston Drive and Darnley main road remains.
The area has been utter chaos with cars at a standstill and not being able to move.

One driver caught up in the roadblock told Glasgow Live that she had popped out to the shops during her lunch break thinking it would be a quick ten minute trip, however she was at a halt for over an hour.
She said: "It's manic, a quick ten minute trip to the shops has turned into a one hour chaotic wait to get out of the car park. What a waste of resources having people out directing traffic."
It looks as though Sainsbury's have delegated workers to guide customers out of the car park - as it appears they are having to shut the area.
A spokesperson for Sainsbury's said: “We have had to temporarily close the car park of our Darnley store due to traffic caused by local roadworks. We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused.”
Glasgow City Council have been approached for comment.
