Glasgow DJ Denis Sulta 'buzzing' after Derry Girls cameo with star girlfriend

Glasgow DJ Denis Sulta posted a sentimental tribute to his famous girlfriend Saoirse-Monica Jackson following her final episode of Derry Girls airing on Wednesday night.

And the Sub Club haunter, who's real name is Hector Barbour, was even given the opportunity to feature in the hit Channel 4 sitcom, as he played a bouncer who chucked the 'teenage' Erin out of a club.

Taking to Instagram, the Scottish DJ said he "couldn't be prouder" of Saoirse-Monica, who has bowed out of the show alongside the iconic cast, that includes Dylan Llewelyn, Nicola Coughlan, Jamie-Lee O'Donnell and Louisa Harland.

As reported by the Daily Record, his caption read: "Tonight marks the end of an INCREDIBLE moment in TV history.

"The final hour long special episode of Derry Girls airs tonight at 9pm on Channel 4!

"I couldn’t be more proud of my favourite Derry Girl @saoirsemonicajackson for putting her heart and soul into this

"Hope you all caught the Sulta cameo last night, been in clubs all my adult life, but never had the chance to kick anyone out.

"CHUFFED, PROUD & UTTERLY BUZZING!"

Denis has become an on-the-rise DJ in the global dance scene, gaining popularity across his social media platforms.

The DJ went public with his relationship to Derry Girls star Saoirse-Monica Jackson in September 2021, and have been posting their love life since, much to the happiness of their fans.

28-year-old Saoirse said goodbye to the hugely popular Channel 4 show Derry Girls on Wednesday, after a hugely successful three seasons.

Fans loved the DJ's sweet post to his other half, and took to his comments to share their thoughts.

One Instagram user said: "Aww guys. Sulta Security services coming in hot!!"

Another wrote: "Oscar worthy performance!!"

And a third said: "Fantastic stuff, so cute!"
