A couple who are leaving Glasgow after living there for four years have created a bucket list of things to to before moving.
Kirsten Nixon and Ronnie Cocozza, both 32, have created 'The Shaw List’ after their beloved Shawlands neighbourhood.
The pair have reached out for recommendations online to ensure that they have done all the South Side essentials, Glasgow Live reports.
Kirsten, who works for Virgin Money, and Ronnie, a music instructor, will be packing up and moving to Paisley for work purposes.
While some entries were run-of-the mill, like visiting nightclub The Shed, some were a bit more adventurous.
The list includes “eating as many breakfast rolls from Brooklyn Cafe as we can squeeze in” and “panther milk from Park Lane Market” among their keen interests ahead of the move.
The pair are also keen to take part in a Drag Queen bingo night and a night singing at the Allison Arms - but didn't reveal their karaoke song of choice.
Other ideas listed include pub quiz nights at Eala Bain, The Bell Jar and The Bungo, tucking into wine and cheese at Marchtown and meeting beloved local dog, Freddie.
The couple, who coined the term ‘Shaw List,’ made the bucket list after appealing for help on Facebook.
Kirsten wrote: “After four amazing years living in Shawlands my partner and I are going to be leaving the area and moving to pastures new.
“We’ve got a couple of months before we go though and we need to cram as many things as possible into The Shaw List.
"Do you have any recommendations? I’ve attached what we have so far … it’s not a long list but we’re a bit half cut at the moment and can’t think of anything else.
Ronnie added: “We’re looking for stuff that’s out of the box. We have of course visited the different cafes and restaurants but the COVID-19 pandemic and busy lifestyles have made it somewhat difficult to get out and about, apart from visiting the most obvious places. For example, The Shed was closed for some time and we weren't aware of karaoke at Allison Arms.”
Kirsten told Glasgow Live she was delighted with how many social media users made some suggestions for the pair.
She said: “We were in The Bungo and I saw an advert for a Tuesday quiz which we’d never been which made me realise we’ve been living in an area but not fully taken advantage of everything here between being too busy and also with the pandemic.
“I think just as part of moving out of the area I started to think about all the things I’d miss and then reached out to the group in case there was more and to be honest they jogged my memory!
“There were a lot of suggestions of things I hadn’t heard of despite living here for years, like the Drag Queen Bingo at Phillies!”
Perhaps the most hilarious suggestion, Kirsten revealed, was the cheeky commenter who suggested that the pair try and find a car parking space on the busy streets of the South Side.
Despite having so much to pack in, the couple admitted they will be upset to leave their neighbourhood behind.
Kirsten said: “I am so sad! It’s totally the right thing for us where we are in our lives but I have loved living in Shawlands - it is a great place to stay.”
