Glasgow Clan have announced a reshuffle of their management structure after controversy broke out last week, with their chairman now offering apologies.
Gareth Chalmers has not been named in a statement as returning to his role as Glasgow Clan chief executive after the club controversially signed a player accused of rape.
The Braehead Arena side announced they had signed Lasse Uusivirta on Thursday night (September 29) before quickly performing a U-turn and deleting all acknowledgement of the signing from their social media accounts and website. Head coach Malcolm Cameron was then suspended alongside Chalmers, with the latter not named by chairman Neil Black as returning under their new management structure.
A statement from Black reads: "I have now concluded my internal investigation into the events which led to the suspension of both Malcolm Cameron and Gareth Chalmers on Thursday, September 29. As a result of my findings, the Glasgow Clan are with immediate effect making the following changes to the management and reporting structure of the on ice activities of the Clan Malcolm Cameron will return to his role as head coach.

Uusivirta, 33, was arrested in the USA on rape charges in 2013 but left for Finland 'with no intention of returning', according to the assistant district attorney who handled his case. He was arrested for the alleged sexual assault of an 18-year-old female student at the UAH campus and will reportedly face charges if he ever returns to the US.
