A busy city centre road will be partially closed to traffic this week to allow carriageway resurfacing.
Renfield Street will be closed from 8am this morning (Monday) until 6pm on Friday (March 25) while the work takes place.
The street will be closed between West George Street and Gordon Street.
There will also be closures at various streets, with junctions on Renfield Street, including West George Lane, St Mary's Lane, St Vincent Lane, Drury Street, and Renfield Lane.
West George Street, St Vincent Street, and Gordon Street will remain open at all times throughout the period of the works.
The Bus Gate on Hope Street at Waterloo Street will be suspended to permit general traffic access to Gordon Street, West Nile Street and Mitchell Street and diversions will be signposted.
Bus services will be disrupted due to the works, including several First Glasgow routes.
Those impacted include the Service 2 towards Baillieston, Service 3 towards Govan Bus Station, Services 4, 4A and 10 towards Oswald Street, Services 6, 7, 7A & 75 towards Glassford Street, Services 9 & 9A towards Cardonald, Services 18 towards Greenhills, Service 19 towards West George Street, Service 21 towards Cochrane Street, Service 21 towards Cathkin, Services 38,38A,38B,38C 57 & 57A towards Shawlands, Services 60,60A & 61 towards Parkhead, Services 240 & 255 towards Parkhead, Services 240,255 & 263 towards Buchanan Bus Station, Service 267 towards Buchanan Bus Station, Services 263 & 267 towards Glassford Street, Service M3 towards Hope Street/Milton and Service X8 towards North Pollok.
