Showcase Cinemas have put out an offer redheads cannot refuse - free cinema tickets to stay out of the sun.
From today until the end of play on Tuesday, Scotland is set to bask in a 33C heatwave which has placed the country under an amber weather warning for extreme heat, according to the Met Office. Temperatures are set to sit around 30 to 33C across Scotland.

People are being asked to take precautions when it comes to working, travelling and just being outside in the weather, as the risk of heat exhaustion is increasing rapidly. The Government has also advised locals to look out for their family friends and pets during this heat, especially if they could be vulnerable to the excessive temperatures.
Justice Secretary Keith Brown said: “I would also urge people to look out for vulnerable family, friends and neighbours, as older people, those with underlying conditions and those living alone may struggle to keep cool and hydrated."
So Showcase Cinemas have taken the heatwave into their own hands, and are offering gingers the chance to cool off in their facilities for free, as well as getting to see the newest hit films. The company have also said that their establishments across the UK feature a state-of-the-art air conditioning system.
Mark Barlow, UK general manager for Showcase Cinemas, said: “While the UK enjoys some much-needed sunny weather, we know how hard some people find the heat.
"That’s why to tackle the heatwave, we’re offering red heads free entry to our cinema screens this Monday and Tuesday, so they’ll be able to enjoy some of the amazing films on offer in the comfort of our air-conditioned cinema screens and ensure they stay protected from the sun."
These tickets are available from any box office in a Showcase Cinema on Monday, July 18 and Tuesday, July 19. The offer is limited to one ticket per person, and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
Films on show include Elvis, Thor: Love and Thunder, Minions: The Rise of Gru, and many more. Head down to your local Showcase Cinema to find out more.
